Scholar Highlight: Meet Anna J., A Remarkable RTS Scholar

This month we are introducing you to Anna J., a senior at UC Berkeley. For the past ten years, Anna’s main professional and academic goal has been to attend law school, but throughout her undergrad experience, she  worried about how she would achieve this goal. Then in the fall of 2020, she joined RTS and met with RTS’ Career Success Team. “As someone who aged out of foster care with no family, having Lucy and Sarah encourage me during our meetings was so positive and transformative.”

Support from people like you, allowed Anna to access personalized coaching that empowered her to achieve her goal. In February, Anna was thrilled to learn that she was accepted into Berkeley Law School! “I cannot imagine being able to complete the application process as an undergrad without the amazing support from everyone at RTS.” Anna is also the recipient of the Berkeley Law Opportunity Scholarship which is a three year, full-tuition scholarship for first-generation college students.
