Ways to Get Involved
1. Assemble welcome packages
This is a convenient DIY volunteer opportunity you can do anytime before June 2024. You or a group can sign-up to purchase snacks, food and other goodies and assemble them into welcome packages. You’ll drop them off at Ready to Succeed’s offices on Saturday, June 1 or Saturday, June 8. You’ll receive a list of supplies you can purchase as well as drop-off information. 2. Sign up to distribute dorm supplies in person
Help distribute dorm room supplies to college-bound foster youth across the Greater Los Angeles area including at CalState Fullerton, CalState Los Angeles, CalState Long Beach, CalState Dominguez Hills, CalState Northridge. Specific dates, times and locations will be confirmed later this spring and summer, so sign up here to save your spot now.
3. Sign up to be a Project Dorm Room fundraiser
With a few easy clicks of a button, you can create your very own personalized fundraising page to raise money for Project Dorm Room. The page takes less than 2 minutes to create and is easy to share with friends and family on social media and via email. Looking for other ways to make an impact?
Join the Project Dorm Room Committee
Looking for a volunteer leadership role? The Project Dorm Room committee might be for you! You’ll work directly with the Project Dorm Room staff manager to assist with supply sourcing, logistics, communication, and event planning. The time commitment is a few hours per month through September 2024. Most volunteering can be done remotely with some opportunities in person. Contact Maddy to quickly apply for this opportunity.
