Camp Ready is one of the most exciting times of the year at Ready to Succeed. This career-building summer camp for college-going foster youth took place from June 28-30 at Cal State Northridge.
This year’s event was historic, and it’s all thanks to you!
- 58 new Scholars attended, the most ever!
- Music executive Karen Civil joined us in person to kick off the event!
- Over 20 professionals volunteered to give Scholars a career networking head start
New Scholars got to meet their dedicated career advisors for the first time. By day, they built career skills and prepared for their futures. By night, they enjoyed fun activities and built lifelong friendships.

Right out of the gate, Scholars were immediately thrown into the world of career building. In the Power of Storytelling workshop, Scholars learned from volunteer professionals about crafting their own work stories, exploring career pathways, and understanding the impact of AI in the workplace.
